Bristol Technology Festival Is Back!

This year’s Bristol Tech Festival is returning to Bristol from October 10th to October 15th 2021, hosting 50+ events focused on the expertise and insight of the city’s thriving tech and digital sector.

This will also be the first launch of the Festival Community Partner initiative where businesses across Bristol can show their support for the festival by becoming one of 50 partners. All of the money raised through this initiative will be invested into the long-term sustainability of the festival. 

With Bristol’s thriving tech scene, tech has quickly become the leading industry in the city, with many companies supporting efforts to diversify the typically male-dominated sector. 

At Newicon, we work actively to encourage inclusion in both tech and software roles, and are proud to support a festival whose values so closely align with ours. Our team is passionate about creativity and how we can better the world we are in. 

Bristol has an eco-system that’s perfect for startups and deep tech, so we couldn’t be more proud of our region. As a software and digital company based in the heart of Bristol, we’ve seen the scene grow before our eyes, which is exactly why we launched our Innovation Kit. The goal of our kit is to provide guidance to businesses and boost creativity while effectively problem solving using our own experiences and systems. We’ve previously collaborated (and still do currently) with other like-minded companies passionate about sustainability and tech for good. 

Projects such as Renewable Energy, Partnerships for forests, and our partnership with MyMaskFit and Innovate UK showcase just how keen we are to support a better, safer and greener future. We also regularly work with a variety of businesses from well-established names to fresh start-ups.
